Why was the section "things we have" removed? The link to the main categories of rewilding made the access much more "friendly use" for the person who visits this site.Maziotis 09:39, 21 April 2007 (MST)
Thanks for the input Maziotis. I removed it because we were quickly outgrowing the limited setup, and it was pretty labor intensive to keep updating the page manually. So I switched to the New Pages and New Images setup on the Community Portal page. I realize this doesn't completely meet the needs of a real "portal" where you can navigate through categories, which I think is what you're looking for.
I hope to eventually make a real portal, but as we're still in the beginning stages with under one hundred true articles, the need hasn't been that great yet. But we're quickly approaching that mark, so I'll probably cook something up soon. For now, I feel the "one click away from the main page" approach of using the community portal to access everything with the new items up first suffices for our size.
